G'Day Ordnance,

Real name is Ken,

Not sure what is important that you want to know about me. Have been playing WoW for just over a year now and having fun while doing serious business. Just the other day finally got Undying on 10m Naxx (was a great Pug, everyone was focused and on the job).

Character Name: Yoshimistu

Age: 28

Location: Brisbane, Qld

What do you do? (Employed/student): Full time worker, have to pay for the internet some how.

What is your played time on this character:

50D 15Hrs 43 Mins 11 Secs

Please link your Armory profile or list your gear:

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Frostmourne&n=Yoshimistu

WWS of previous raiding:

None at moment

Professions:

Mining and Jewel Crafting

Game Experience - What end game raid experience do you have? You can include pre-bc & other MMO's for our reference also.

Naxx 10/25, EoE 10m, both OS - 0D, both VoA, Between Yoshimistu and my alt Tank have done 10 uld except the general and yoggy. Have been in a progress night for Uld H Yoggy (kicked my heart out) and done IC 25m (did alot of kicking there to).

Have not done much of BC or orginal WoW content, only because of the time that I started to play wow. Dinged lvl 80 3 weeks prior to the release of WOTLK

Is there any member of Ordnance that can vouch for you?

Not sure about vouch for but have done some 10m Uld and Naxx on my alt tank with Milomoo and know Bukkit from being in the same previous Guild

Computer Specs

Processor: Q9300
Video Card: 9800GTX
Ram: 4G 1067 MHz
Internet Connection: 8000/384 Netspace atm.
Do you have a Mic and Vent: Yes to both

Previous Guilds: Lastest - Straw Hat Pirates (3 months), then Nemesis (3months), and Raid Runnerz (4 months). Have been in some mates guilds in between the guilds listed above only help help dps or tank while looking for the next step. Plz disregard the guild listed in the Armoury links, is only a rebound guild.

Current/Previous Guild?: Straw Hat Pirates

Why did you leave?:

- Raid times did not align all that well as guild was based in Singapore. eg 2200 - 0200 server time.

- Lack of any real chance to progress. Even if I could make the raid times there was never really any room for me, to many rogues in front of me and then many - many melee in front of me again. Not much of a chance to progress and see the new content. I was only a low rank, pretty much the next one up from Casual.

Is there someone from a previous guild we can contact if we require any more information?:

Kidz - Norealskill

Why Us? Raid times align with me alot better and from constant whispering with Bukkit, and the progress that he as shared with me, Ordnance is a Positive Minded guild, that gets in to get the job done and I really wish to be apart of that.

What do you expect of us? The chance of a fair go..... if that means anything anymore. I understand that I will not be able to start raiding from the word go but I certainly wish that given the chance to prove that I can exceed the guilds expectations with flying colours.

What assets will you bring to the guild?

- Commitment, Reliability and the abilty to work with others in a team environment.

- Myself for one, I'm always keen to learn new ways to complete encounters.

- Cooking lvl is 450 to help Fish Feast topped up and willing to farm if needed to keep stocks up.

- JC Crafting - Titansteel CD
- Blacksmithing 450 - Titansteel CD (on alt) I have a free fee policy for guildies.

- A semi geared DK Tank which I'm more then happy to use to help lvl guild alts and alike.

Can you commit to the guild raid schedule? (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday - 7.30 server time).

Yes I can given the chance. Due to work I may not be able to attend but will give Ordnance notice and be upfront when I cannot attend

Do you enjoy the aspects of hardcore raiding? Wiping, farming, listening, researching encounters etc.

Very much so, I spend time to farm gold so that I can have a repair kitty. I spend time reading about encounters, the different methods available + get a visual help of watching www.tankspot.com videos which I find helpfull.

What is your preferred raiding spec for the expansion? (A link to the talent build would be nice).

http://shadowpanther.net/pvespecs.htm

At the moment using rogue mut spec 51/13/7. But Happy to lose pvp spec for the current Uld mut spec 51/7/13 once I get 4/5 T8 only have one T8.5 atm.

What are your aspirations for 3.1?

To progress and see as much content as I can and if I can get some nice new shinny gear along the way that would be just fine as well. But you can't have gear without progression.

Any additional comments or questions?

I'm a mature player that likes to have fun while playing, I certainly have a serious side to me when the game face comes on. I always like to challenge myself to do better... eg beat the number of interupts while keeping dps as high as possible. I have on a number of times used my fresh Uld status to jump in to help guild finish a run or progress while a person is afk for a certain amount of time. More then happy to put the guilds needs infront of my own.

Would like to thank you for your time and happy to answer any further questions.

Cheers,

Ken (Yoshimistu)

Funnily enough I'm still snooping the guild. Withdrawls we'll put it down to. Anyway, this guy should get in for the simple fact he dinged 80, 3 weeks prior to wotlk release. :P

Typo me thinks. Congrats on 25 man clear to everyone. Much love.

You troll you Sara lol. Don't forget our gear level is stepping up all the time, makes for gaps to anyone who's Naxx geared now.

Ken,

We like your application and you seem to be a solid raider, we would like to offer you a raid slot, however the reality is at the moment we cannot offer you one with any certainty. Having said this we are not going to decline you based on this fact alone, we are happy with the standard of your application and believe that you have the attitude that would fit in well with our guild so we are going to outline the situation and offer you a choice.

We are full on rogues and melee at this point, we have some melee on the bench on most nights as it currently stands, however (due to the natural course of guilds, burnout etc) if you accept our invite into our guild you will likely earn a raid slot in time. Bear in mind that we can make no guarantee's here.

However if you wish to raid sooner and more regularly to begin with we would strongly advise seeking out another guild.

We apologise that we cannot give you a more certain or favourable answer, however we feel it is only fair to make you abundantly clear on the situation. Please either post here with your response or contact either myself or Tygorl in game.

Thank you for your application,
Ordnance Officers

Hi Rhyseh,

Firstly,I like to thank you and the officers for reviewing my guild application. Secondly, I thank you for your forward and honest reply. I realise that melee dps is a dime a dozen and would very hard given the gear that I currently + not 100% on Uld encounters to warrant a raid spot straight off the bat.

With the raid times aligning alot better then the last guild that I was in, it is alot more likely that I will have a chance to progress in Ordnance given a spot may open up for a night, couple of hours or what ever some time down the track.

That in mind I would be very happy to accecpt an invitation to Ordnance given the conditions of no guanantee's that have been outlined by Ryseh, that is the life of a melee.

Cheers and thank you very much.

Yup Aussie Jim, it was too hard for us to turn him down, even being full on raiders. Glad to see you've decided to join us!
